2023 Chevrolet Electric Vehicle Lineup

Walking onto a Chevrolet dealership’s lot in about a dozen years will look a lot different than it does today. Chevy recently revealed that it’s going to produce nothing but electric vehicles (EVs) by the time 2035 rolls around. Even though Chevy has only been manufacturing EVs for a relatively short period of time now — its first EV was the 2016 Chevrolet Bolt — the company feels confident in its ability to replace all of its gas- and diesel-powered vehicles with electric ones.

Chevy has already taken some steps to make this a reality, too. There are several 2023 Chevrolet vehicles that are available in electric versions. If you would be interested in buying one, you should learn more about the 2023 Chevrolet EV lineup. See what this lineup consists of below.

Chevrolet Bolt EV

As we alluded to a moment ago, the Chevrolet Bolt is the EV that started it all for Chevy. So it’s only fitting that Chevy continues to keep the Bolt EV in its EV lineup. The Bolt has a single motor in it that’s capable of producing up to 200 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque for its front wheels. It also comes equipped with a unique propulsion system that is designed to provide up to 259 miles on a single charge and DC fast-charge capability to give it 100 miles of range within half an hour.

Another cool thing about the latest Chevrolet Bolt is that it has a one-pedal driving mode that you can activate by pushing a button located in the center console. This mode will increase the usage of regenerative braking and prevent you from having to use the brakes as often to slow the 2023 Bolt down.

Chevrolet Bolt EUV

Some people are under the impression that the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EV and the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV are more or less the same vehicle due to their names. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. The Bolt EUV is a slightly larger vehicle than the Bolt EV and has different specs that set it apart from the Bolt EV.

The 200-horsepower electric motor and front-wheel drive in the Bolt EUV make it similar to the Bolt EV. But the Bolt EUV includes a 65 kWh battery pack that can get up to 247 miles before needing to be recharged, which isn’t bad at all when you consider that the Bolt EUV is bigger than the Bolt EV and yet gets comparable range. It also has a more spacious interior than the Bolt EV and holds up well when it’s compared to other small electric SUVs.

Chevrolet Equinox EV

The 2023 Chevrolet EV lineup will technically only include the 2023 Bolt EV and the 2023 Bolt EUV for the time being. But three other Chevrolet vehicles will be joining the party in 2023, as the 2024 models will quickly be integrated into this lineup of EVs. The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV will be one of them.

The 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV and the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV are technically all-electric SUVs. But it’ll be evident that the Equinox EV brings something much different to the table when you climb behind the wheel of one. It comes standard with a single motor that can produce up to 210 horsepower, but an optional all-wheel-drive system can bump that up to 290 horsepower.

The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV has two batteries you can choose for it that’ll provide you with a better range than the Bolt EUV. There’s a smaller battery pack that can carry you up to 250 miles when fully charged and a larger battery pack that can make that an even 300 miles. It also has a DC fast-charging capability that can add 70 miles of range in around 10 minutes.

Chevrolet Blazer EV

Chevy reintroduced the Blazer to its lineup back in 2019 to much fanfare, and now it’s reintroducing it by doing the previously unthinkable and putting out an all-electric version. The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV will come with at least one trim with an electric motor capable of producing up to 557 horsepower. It’ll also reportedly have a battery pack in it that’ll provide a range of anywhere from around 247 miles to 320 miles depending on the trim.

Chevy will continue to push the Blazer as one of its most luxurious SUVs. On the inside, it’ll include everything from an aggressively styled dashboard and seating to a larger-than-life standard 17.7-inch infotainment display.

Chevrolet Silverado EV

There has been some healthy skepticism surrounding the idea of transforming the legendary Chevrolet Silverado into an all-electric pickup truck. But it sure sounds like Chevy will go above and beyond to prove the doubters wrong with its 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV. It’ll have standard dual motors capable of producing up to 664 horsepower, which will be enough to tow 10,000 pounds and haul up to 1,300 pounds.

The new Chevrolet Silverado EV will also come with a large battery pack, enabling it to travel about 400 miles on a single charge. Like many other Chevrolet EVs, it’ll also have DC fast-charging capability, which will allow you to give its battery a 100-mile range with just a 10-minute charge.

Visit Us To See The 2023 Chevrolet EV Lineup In Person

It remains to be seen whether or not Chevy will be able to get things together quickly enough to have a lineup featuring nothing but EVs by 2035. But it’s certainly off to a strong start with their 2023 Chevrolet EV lineup. And this lineup should only grow from here, with Chevy sending more EVs down the pipeline.

Do you want to hear more about the commitment Chevy has made to go all-electric? Or better yet, would you like to come to see some of the EVs from the 2023 Chevrolet EV lineup in person? green plant outside in the rain

While there are endless ways you can get outside and enjoy the natural beauty of the Georgia coast, the weather doesn’t always comply. The next time you see rain in the forecast in Pooler, Georgia, don’t let it ruin your plans. Instead, use the opportunity to visit one of the many indoor attractions in the greater Savannah area. Here are five ideas for some of the best rainy-day activities near Pooler, Georgia.

A special highlight includes the B-17 Flying Fortress, undergoing restoration in one of the museum’s galleries.

With numerous artifacts, interactive displays, and educational presentations, you can spend hours inside the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force. You can also visit the Chapel of the Fallen Eagles, a replica Gothic English chapel with beautiful stained-glass windows inspired by Eighth Air Force veteran groups and families. On nicer days, you can tour the museum’s Memorial Garden, a space to reflect and honor the service of Eighth Air Force members. You can purchase tickets to the museum on its website. Group tours are also available for purchase.

The restaurant serves a variety of to-go items so you can take the food into your movie. The auditoriums have seats with trays attached, so it’s easy to eat while you watch the film. Ticket prices vary based on the time of day and the type of auditorium. On Tuesdays, you can enjoy $6 ticket prices all day long, with the exclusion of IMAX theaters.

The pairing grants 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, allowing the Silverado to make it from zero to 60 in 5.5 seconds. This core configuration has a maximum towing capacity of 13,300 pounds.

The final optional core also has the best fuel-to-power conversion ratio. It’s a 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbo-diesel engine connected to a 10-speed automatic transmission and provides 277 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. The diesel core takes the 2023 Silverado 1500 from zero to 60 in just over 7.5 seconds. The diesel configuration gives this truck a maximum towing capacity of 13,200 pounds.

Unlocking a car with a key fob

Do you own a Chevy key fob with a remote start function? If you do, there may come a time when it stops working. But don’t worry. Your key fob should be easy to fix. There are a few reasons that your Chevy key fob may have stopped working, and when they’re resolved, you’ll need to reprogram it. While this might seem like a task beyond your ability, our team here at Vaden Chevrolet Pooler has come up with a step-by-step guide to help you through the process and make it simple enough for just about anyone to do.

What Can You Do With Your Chevy Key Fob?

Most new Chevy models come with key fobs that let you start your vehicle remotely. If your particular model doesn’t offer this feature standard, you can upgrade yourself to any new Chevy to have this handy feature. Other things that you can often do with your Chevy key fob, depending on the model and year of your car, include lock and unlock the doors, roll down the windows, turn on the heat or air conditioning, open the liftgate or trunk, and turn the lights on or off.

To use the remote start and other functions of the key fob, you’ll need to download the MyChevrolet app on your smartphone. This gives you access to all the features associated with the remote start function the key fob provides. If you don’t have the MyChevrolet app, you’ll have to be within 200 feet of your vehicle to start it using your Chevy key fob. It’s also important to note that you must lock your car to use the remote start function.

On the key fob, you’ll see a button that looks like a circular arrow. Hold this down to start your car, which will stay on and running for 15 minutes. This is an added safety feature that’s in place if you start your car and forget that you did.

How To Replace The Battery In Your Chevy Key Fob

One of the most common reasons that your key fob won’t remotely start your Chevy is that the battery is low or dead. Luckily, you can easily replace the battery yourself. If you have a newer Chevy vehicle, follow these steps to replace the battery:

  1. Pull out the metal key by pressing the chrome button on the side of the fob.
  2. Remove the case and the circuit board from inside the fob.
  3. Carefully pull out the small, round battery from the housing. You may need to use a screwdriver.
  4. Install the replacement battery while ensuring the positive and negative sides are in the right positions.
  5. Put the circuit board and outer case back together.

Once you have the new battery in your Chevy key fob, you’ll need to reprogram it so that you can use all of its functions. This process sounds more intimidating than it is.

How To Program Your Chevy Key Fob With Remote Start

With your now-working key fob, you should be able to lock and unlock the doors of your Chevy vehicle. Here are the steps you can follow to get your remote start feature working again in no time:

  1. Unlock the door manually with your Chevy key and get into your vehicle.
  2. Then, shut all the doors securely and put the key into the ignition. However, you don’t need to start the car.
  3. Press and hold the “Unlock” button on the driver’s side door panel.
  4. Now, turn your key in the ignition to the “On” position so that your electrical systems activate. Remember to ensure the engine isn’t ignited and keep the “Unlock” button pressed down.
  5. With the unlock button down, turn the key from the “On” position to the “Off” position and then back to the “On” position and the “Off” position in quick succession. So, the sequence should go: On, Off, On, Off.
  6. Now, release the “Unlock” button.
  7. With the “Unlock” button released, you should hear the door locks engage and disengage quickly. If you don’t hear it, you can try the sequence again.
  8. When you’ve heard the doors lock and unlock, press and hold “Unlock” and “Lock” simultaneously on your Chevy key fob until you hear the door locks repeat the engage and disengage sequence. This lets you know that you have successfully completed the Chevy key fob programming correctly.
  9. Finally, put your key in the ignition and turn it to the “On” position. This finishes up the programming sequence.

These nine simple steps should get you ready to go with your remote start and other key fob functions.

Where Can You Get Help With Your Chevy Key Fob?

A string of multi-colored Christmas lights against a wooden surface

A time-honored tradition for many families is driving around town or walking the beautiful streets and admiring the lights that bedeck many buildings and locations during Christmas. While some places focus on the buildings, others focus on landscape designs meant to create a sense of wonder and joy. No matter your reason, enjoying the decor that comes along with the holiday is a fantastic way to spend the evening with family and friends or a new love interest.

While many places in Savannah decorate with lovely detail, sometimes you want to hit up the best spots in town for a truly memorable experience. Read on to learn about our list of the best Christmas lights displays to be found in Savannah.

Savannah Historic District

If you’re new to the Savannah area, you may not be aware that the historic district is one of the places to be during the holidays. While the gorgeous architecture is enough to draw your attention to the area, the buildings are aglow during Christmas with lights that highlight the lines and details of each building. In Antebellum buildings and Victorian-style homes alike, you’ll see gas lanterns flickering their warm glow on the cobblestone streets. The carolers walking, singing, and spreading holiday cheer create a setting akin to a storybook.

While in the area, you’ll want to check out Forsyth Park and the area that sits next to it. The classic Christmas decor is enough to put you in the holiday mood, even if there’s no snow in sight. Another way to experience the historic district is to consider taking a trolley tour through the historic district. This guided tour is narrated by a professional tour guide and features stops to see carolers and some of Savannah’s most beloved buildings. The tour even stops at Davenport House, where snacks are provided for trolley riders.

Broughton Street

Broughton Street is another popular destination for Savannah locals. This street is home to the city’s official Christmas tree, so you know it’ll be an impressive view. The tree is typically in the middle of the road at the intersection of Broughton and Bull Streets. It’s hard to miss. The stores that line Broughton have lovely window displays that add to the ambiance and make for a romantic stroll as the sun sets.

This year, Savannah will host their annual tree lighting ceremony on Friday, Nov. 25, with a special reading of “The Night Before Christmas” and performances by local choirs. The Savannah Christmas Market at Plant Riverside District opens at noon. Find specialty gifts crafted by artisans and enjoy some holiday snacks as you shop.

Illuminights At Zoo Atlanta

If you have kids, treat them to an evening at the zoo and stay for the spectacular lights display. From Nov. 17, 2022, through Jan. 15, 2023, you can experience the Chinese Lantern Festival of lights and marvel at the details and charm. With over 80 different animal-inspired lanterns, your eyes will twinkle with delight. With some lanterns over 20 feet tall honoring extraordinary and unique creatures from around the world, this event is a great learning experience for the entire family. The lanterns are all hand-painted by practiced Chinese artisans and represent the craft and hours of work.

Zoo Atlanta is at 800 Cherokee Avenue SE. Paid parking will be available in the Cherokee Avenue parking lot, along with transfer parking. Hours for this event are from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with the last entry allowed at 8 p.m. to let all patrons experience the lights in full. However, expect most of the animals to be secured in their nighttime enclosures before dark. If you want to see them in action, head over in the daylight.

This is a rain-or-shine event, so make sure you dress appropriately. Adult general admission for this spectacular event begins at $20.99. For more information or to learn about volunteering your time to help at this event, call 404-464-5600.

Atlanta Botanical Garden

Coloring the day with blooms and bedecking the night with lights, the Atlanta Botanical Garden is one sight you can’t miss. The 12th Annual Garden Lights, Holiday Nights begins on Nov. 12, 2022, and continues to Jan. 14, 2023. As one of Atlanta’s favorite holiday traditions, the garden features an all-new exhibition in the Anne Cox Chambers Garden, designed by French artist Cedric LeBorgne.

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is at 1345 Piedmont Ave. NE. Timed tickets are on sale now for this Savannah favorite. Consider buying your tickets early and online to save time and ensure your spot. Adult general admission begins at $27.95 on value nights and peaks at $47.95 on busy nights. There’s also a premium package ticket available that includes no time restrictions and includes a holiday light bulb necklace and a special holiday treat. Those with the premium ticket will also receive hologram glasses, a drink ticket, and express entry to skip the line.

A 2023 Chevrolet Bolt

In 2023, Chevrolet offers motorists the Bolt EV and Bolt EUV. Both are sustainable electric vehicles aiming to appeal to eco-conscious consumers, so you may be wondering what the difference is. Here, we compare these vehicles side-by-side, so you can understand the differences between the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EV and the 2023 Chevrolet EUV and decide which vehicle suits you best.

Cool Good Looks

At first glance, it’s obvious that the Bolt EV and Bolt EUV are siblings. The Bolt EV is cute and more compact, while the Bolt EUV has a larger, more masculine design. It’s not just the extra 6.3 inches of length and the 2.9 inches larger wheelbase that helps it cut a more imposing figure. The faux skid plate on the front fascia, split headlamps, and more defined angles all work to give the EUV just a little more attitude.

Impressive MPGe And Driving Range Ratings

When you’re buying an electric vehicle, its MPGe and driving range are all important. With both vehicles using the same 65 kWh lithium-ion battery and powertrain system, the lighter Bolt EV comes out on top. It has an MPGe of 120, which is five miles better than the Bolt EUV. The EV also has a better driving range of 259 miles, although the EUV isn’t far behind, with a range of up to 247 miles.

Outstanding Performance

The Bolt EV’s lighter frame makes it a little bit zippier on the road. It reaches zero to 60 mph in just 6.5 seconds, compared to seven seconds for the Bolt EUV. However, once the cars are at speed, the capable powertrain offers more than enough pep, no matter which model you choose.

When you own an electric vehicle, how it performs off the road is just as important as how it charges when you’re traveling. With a DC fast charger, you can recharge the batteries of both vehicles in 30 minutes. Expect around seven hours to charge them fully using a 240-volt charger.

Interior Space For You And Your Family

Both Bolts are five-seater vehicles made for hauling couples and a few kids. While the Bolt EUV is six inches longer than the EV, the differences between these cars are marginal where it really counts. The Bolt EV has 93.9 cu ft of passenger volume, only slightly more than the 96.5 cu ft on offer in the Bolt EUV. You mostly gain that extra space in rear legroom, so the EUV may be a good option if you have tall teens or regularly carpool.

Cargo Space And More Storage

While the Bolt EUV is a longer vehicle, it’s got slightly less room in the trunk. This premium model boasts 16.3 cu ft of cargo space behind the rear seats, which increases to 56.9 cu ft with the seats folded down. That’s marginally smaller than the EV, which has 16.6 cu ft in standard mode and 57 cu ft when you lay down the seats.

While the Bolt EUV’s trunk is slightly smaller, it makes up for it with some extra storage features. Under-seat storage, which is exclusive to the Bolt EUV, helps you stash away any smaller items you might need. If you regularly carry large cargo, such as kayaks or surfboards, the Bolt EUV may be a better option for you. It’s the only Bolt electric vehicle that comes with a standard roof rack with side rails. You can also order cross rails for added functionality from your Chevrolet parts store.

Sophisticated Interior Options

While there’s little difference between the space these vehicles offer, the Bolt EUV is undeniably more comfortable than the Bolt EV. Sophisticated leather upholstery comes standard. This luxury upholstery is optional for Bolt EV drivers, and if you don’t want to pay extra, you get serviceable but less appealing cloth.

With the Bolt EUV, you have the option to make your seating even more comfortable in all conditions. Chevrolet offers ventilated front seats and heated rear outboard seats as optional extras. These opulent selections aren’t available with the Bolt EV. The Bolt EUV’s optional panoramic sunroof, with a dual-panel power sunshade for UV ray reduction, also elevates this electric vehicle.

Cutting-Edge Technology On Board

Chevrolet has treated Bolt buyers to some quality tech features in both vehicles. The 10.2-inch touch screen is more sizable than the screens in many economy vehicles. It integrates with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and comes standard with Chevrolet’s 3 Plus infotainment system and Safety Assist. However, the dual-level charge cord that’s an optional extra in the Bolt EV is standard in the Bolt EUV.

A rear seat reminder is another standard feature in the Bolt EUV that’s not available in the EV. With the Bolt EV, you don’t have the option of adding safety features, such as enhanced automatic braking, unlike with the Bolt EUV. Super Cruise, a semi-autonomous driving system that helps you drive on more than 200,000 miles of approved roads, is a key technological feature exclusive to the Bolt EUV. One-pedal driving is another intuitive piece of technology that Chevrolet reserves for the Bolt EUV. Regarding innovation, Chevrolet leaves no doubt that the Bolt EUV is the premium option.

The Bottom Line

For many people, the decision about which Bolt to obtain will come down to dollars and cents. Both cars are great value when compared with other electric vehicles on the market. The 2023 Bolt EV is the more affordable option, with a starting MSRP of $25,600. You’ll spend at least $1,600 more on the 2023 Bolt EUV, which has a starting MSRP of $27,200. If you appreciate the finer things in life, you could argue that’s a relatively small price to pay for a more luxurious, well-appointed vehicle.

Now that you understand more about the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EV and 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV, we’re sure you’ll agree that it’s time for a test drive. Come visit our Pooler dealership to take one or both of these exciting new Bolt vehicles for a spin. We’re open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. for your convenience.

Our certified technicians are brake experts and will work quickly and efficiently to get your car back on the road. We only use the highest quality parts and fluids, so you can rest assured that your brake system will be in good hands.

Here are some of the brake repair and replacement services we offer:

  • Brake pad replacement.
  • Brake rotor replacement.
  • Brake fluid flush.
  • Brake line repair/replacement.
  • ABS repair.

The Importance Of Brake Repair

Brakes are a vital component of any vehicle, and regular brake repair is essential to maintaining safe driving conditions. Brakes work by using friction to slow down or stop the wheels from turning. Over time, this friction can cause wear and tear on the braking system. If brakes are not properly repaired, this can lead to serious problems, such as reduced stopping power or premature failure of the brakes. In extreme cases, faulty brakes can even cause accidents. For these reasons, it’s important to have your brakes checked regularly and have any necessary repairs made promptly.

Here are just a few benefits of regular brake repair and replacement:

  • Better handling: When your brakes are in good condition, handling tight turns and sudden stops will be a breeze. This is especially important when roads are slick and visibility is reduced due to inclement weather conditions.
  • Improved fuel efficiency: Cars work best when all their systems are functioning properly. When your brakes are in good condition, your car can slow down and stop more efficiently, improving fuel economy.
  • Higher resale value: If you’re considering selling your car, potential buyers will be more interested if they know that the brakes are in good condition. In fact, many buyers will refuse to purchase a car with faulty brakes.

Signs You Need Brake Repair Or Replacement Services

If you’re not sure whether your brakes need repair or replacement, here are a few telltale signs that it’s time to bring your car to Vaden Chevrolet Pooler for service:

  • Squealing noise when braking: If you hear a high-pitched squealing noise when you brake, it’s likely that your brake pads need to be replaced. A metal indicator causes the noise to notify you when the pads are worn down.
  • Grinding noise when braking: A grinding noise usually indicates more serious problems, such as a rock caught in the caliper unit or brake pads worn down to the metal.
  • Leaking brake fluid: If you notice a puddle of clear, oily liquid under your car, it’s likely brake fluid. Brake fluid is necessary for the proper functioning of your brakes, so a leak should be addressed immediately.
  • Vibrating steering wheel: If your steering wheel vibrates when you brake, it could signify warped brake rotors. Warped rotors can cause reduced stopping power and increased wear on your brake pads, so it’s important to have them repaired or replaced as soon as possible.
  • Vehicle pulls to one side when braking: If your car pulls to the left or right, it could be a sign of uneven wear on your brake pads or a problem with your brake calipers.
  • Burning smell when braking: If you notice a burning smell, it’s likely that your brake pads are overheating. This can be caused by extended braking, towing a heavy load, or driving down a steep hill. If you notice this smell, pulling over and letting your brakes cool down before continuing to drive is important.
  • Soft brake pedal: If your brake pedal feels soft to your foot or sinks to the floor when you press down on it, it’s likely an issue with your brake fluid. A soft brake pedal can make it difficult to stop, so it’s important to have this issue addressed as soon as possible.
