Vaden Automotive opened its doors in 1968 under founding father, Dan Vaden. Mr. Vaden's belief that the "customer signs our paychecks" remains the cornerstone of The Vaden Way. Dan's daughter, Jane Vaden Thacher, carries that legacy torch today and encourages employee participation in grassroots efforts supporting "Education and Literacy". Through Community Partnerships in all the communities we do business like Pooler, Savannah, Montgomery, and Garden City; Vaden stands firmly committed to making an impact not only today, but for many years to come.

2025 events
May: We had the honor of hosting Pooler Elementary School’s 5th Grade Award Day!
Each student was individually recognized and celebrated with awards, fun games like Connect 4 and bounce houses, and plenty of great food. It was a day full of smiles, cheers, and Bulldog pride! ????
We were proud to celebrate alongside GM Mike Ringer, Principal Jason Waters, and former Principal Stacey Mills, who helped shape such a special year for these students.
Congrats to the PES 5th grade class on an amazing school year!
May: Teacher Appreciation Week with a heartfelt lunch at Pooler Elementary!
Our team connected with educators over Chick-fil-A, shared conversations about how we can continue to support them and handed out complimentary oil change cards as a small token of gratitude. Giving back to those shaping the next generation—that’s The Vaden Way.
March: Hands-On Learning with Pooler Elementary Family and Friends ! ??
Career Day at Pooler Elementary was all about getting our hands dirty—in the best way possible! We showed students the importance of car maintenance and taught them how to change a tire. ???? These future drivers now have some real-world skills under their belts. Who’s ready to fix a flat?

December: We had the BEST time at Pooler Elementary
These hard-working students were awarded with tokens for their book vending machine! ????? Watching their faces light up as they picked out books to call their very own was truly heartwarming. ?? This initiative rewards dedication and encourages a lifelong love of learning—two things we’re so proud to support.
November: Reaching for the stars with Pooler elementary school!
We're shouting CONGRATULATIONS to Jaleel Walker, 4th grader at Pooler Elementary, for his second consecutive victory in the school’s Spelling Bee! This year, Jaleel clinched the title by spelling the word ROGUE with confidence and precision. We also want to give a huge shoutout to all the incredible students who participated in the Bee. Your hard work, courage, and love for learning are something to be celebrated.
September: Congrats to Our New F&I Graduates!

COMING IN HOT WITH BOOKS FOR Pooler ELEMENTARY
In the month of April, we sold a record-breaking 195 units! In fact, we've sold a whopping total of 253 since the Book Vending Machine initiative began. This has helped us raise an incredible $6325, which will go towards filling the Book Vending Machine at Pooler Elementary School!

THE COWS ARE ON THE MOO-VE!
Thank you all for supporting our campaign to raise $10,800 for a new COW (Computer On Wheels) for Pooler Elementary Family and Friends! Our owner, Jane Vaden Thacher, and GM, Mike Ringer, delivered the surprise in style!
JANUARY
Supporting the community...the vaden way
Every new car sold in December was more than just a car sold, it was a step towards new beginnings at Tharros Place, a residential facility for survivors of human trafficking. We set aside $50 for every new car sold and were able to raise $5,400 to purchase items from their wishlist. Supporting our community and lending a hand to those who need it...that's the Vaden Way.

SPREADING CREATIVITY AT Pooler ELEMENTARY FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
It's Beautification Day for the Vaden Bulldog Sensory Garden. It's always a labor of love for our Community Partner family at Pooler Elementary Family and Friends. The Vaden team had a fantastic time teaming up with the amazing Pooler Elementary teachers and staff to transform their sensory garden into a vibrant oasis. Check out how awesome this is and just imagine how happy the kids will be when they return next week.

Showing love to our friends at Pooler elementary
Our Community Partner, Pooler Elementary, asked...and we answered. Our beloved Bulldogs went back to school in early August and quickly discovered they needed EVEN more supplies than anticipated so we teamed up with Walmart Pooler and asked the community for help. THIS is the result!!!! We collected approximately 100 tote bags of donated items for teachers and students. When we work together, great things happen and THAT'S THE VADEN WAY!!!!
MAY: A month full of Pooler elementary school appreciation!
May was packed full of amazing days spent supporting our community partner, Pooler Elementary School! Per tradition, we held our annual celebration of the entire 5th grade class and their amazing accomplishments before the summer starts! In addition, we also gathered with our friends there to enjoy a lively choral performance and hand out prizes to students and teachers alike who worked hard over the last few months to improve math and reading scores. Thank you #TeamPooler for your commitment to our Community Partnership. Together, we are paving the way forward for our kids who will rise as leaders. From everyone Vaden Automotive and Vaden Chevrolet Pooler, we miss you already and look forward to all the wonderful things we'll do together in 2024!!
Safety first for our Community Partners...That's the Vaden Way
It's Career Day for Pooler Elementary School and we were happy to show our beloved Bulldogs the penny trick for testing tires. They learned about Abraham Lincoln and that if you see all of his face once you put the penny into the middle tread, it's time to change that tire. Each student is getting their OWN penny to take home tonight!

Appreciating the teachers at Richmond Hill middle school
It's the most WONDERFUL time of the year and BACK TO SCHOOL is right around the corner for Richmond Hill!!! To help get the 2022-2023 school year kicked off, Vaden Chevrolet Pooler hosted a TEACHER APPRECIATION EVENT on Wednesday, July 27, which was attended by 200+ Elementary, Middle and High School faculty members. Food, prizes and fellowship were all part of our celebration. Thank you Richmond Hill Middle School for hosting today's event. From everyone at Vaden Automotive good luck this year...GO WILDCATS!!!
