From spaghetti to cannoli, these Pooler spots have the meals you need to satisfy your cravings. These are our picks for some of the best Italian restaurants in the Pooler area.
Terra Mia
Terra Mia is one of Pooler’s premiere Italian spots, with all the traditional pasta and pizza you could ask for. Founded and operated by people from Italy, this restaurant brings you all the classic flavors with some American twists. The origin of Terra Mia is Italy itself, with Josie’s Restaurant in Naples, Italy. Mama Josie ran the kitchen and Gary Langevin, the now-chef for Terra Mia, worked in the kitchen from the time he was just a kid.
His time growing up in an authentic Italian restaurant allowed him to develop the taste for Italian cuisine and the talent to craft delicious pastas, pizzas, and desserts. Gary journeyed to America and opened several restaurants along the southeastern coast, including Terra Mia. Some of the best items on the menu at Terra Mia are the traditional pasta, veal, and seafood dishes. When you visit, you can try dishes like the lobster ravioli and Italian turnovers.

Rated as one of the best independent pizza spots, Lovezzola’s Pizza was opened in 1978 by Paul and Juanita Lovezzola in the Pooler shopping center. After running the pizza place in the shopping center for five years, they constructed a new building that would offer proper seating and ambiance for guests. Lovezzola’s went through a name change, from Lovezzola’s Pizza and Subs to Lovezzola’s Pizza Family Restaurant. The entire family is now part of the restaurant, including Paul, Juanita, their kids, and the community.
Lovezzola’s serves pizza, pasta, appetizers, salads, subs, and desserts. To start off the meal, consider the warm and tasty garlic knots or pepperoni cheese bread sticks. For the entree, some of the best items on the menu are the homemade lasagna and stuffed shells. If you’re looking for something lighter, try the antipasto salad or Italian cold cut sub. After your meal, go for a rich slice of cheesecake or a round of cinnamon sticks.
