What To Expect For The 2024 Chevrolet Trax

A green 2024 Chevrolet Trax

The Chevrolet Trax didn't make an appearance for the 2023 model year but will be back better than ever for 2024. This plucky little crossover SUV is getting a massive facelift, adding 11 inches to its length and two inches to its width, giving you three more inches of legroom and almost six more cubic feet of cargo space. If you've been waiting to add a new crossover to your garage, it could be worth waiting just a little longer for this one. Our Vaden Chevrolet Pooler sales team invites you to explore the 2024 Chevrolet Trax features and specs.

Available Trims

The 2024 Chevrolet Trax will be sold in five trims: LS, 1RS, LT, 2RS, and ACTIV. This is three more trims than the 2022 Trax offered, giving you more options than ever. This engine delivers 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard across all five trims to give a smooth ride over most road surfaces. The Trax hasn't been rated for fuel economy yet, but the Trailblazer shares the same powertrain and has received an EPA estimate of 29 mpg for city driving and 33 mpg on the highway, so you can expect similar in the Trax.

You'll also get a 60/40-split folding rear seat to offer more passenger and cargo configurations. On the 1RS, you get red interior accents, heated front seats, a remote start, and a wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel. The base-level touch screen in the 2024 Trax is larger than the one previously offered in the top-of-the-line trim.

Moving up to the LS adds a keyless start, a cargo shade, automatic climate control, rear charging USB ports, a six-speaker sound system, rear carpet floor mats, cloth seats with Evotex trim, and an 11-inch touch screen with an 8-inch driver information center. The LT gets you red interior accents, heated front seats, passive entry, and Evotex seating. You also get a wrapped and heated flat-bottom steering wheel. 2023 Chevrolet Electric Vehicle Lineup

2023 Chevrolet Electric Vehicle Lineup

Walking onto a Chevrolet dealership's lot in about a dozen years will look a lot different than it does today. Chevy recently revealed that it's going to produce nothing but electric vehicles (EVs) by the time 2035 rolls around. Even though Chevy has only been manufacturing EVs for a relatively short period of time now — its first EV was the 2016 Chevrolet Bolt — the company feels confident in its ability to replace all of its gas- and diesel-powered vehicles with electric ones. Chevy has already taken some steps to make this a reality, too. There are several 2023 Chevrolet vehicles that are available in electric versions. If you would be interested in buying one, you should learn more about the 2023 Chevrolet EV lineup. See what this lineup consists of below. Chevrolet Bolt EV As we alluded to a moment ago, the Chevrolet Bolt is the EV that started it all for Chevy. So it's only fitting that Chevy continues to keep the Bolt EV in its EV lineup. The Bolt has a single motor in it that's capable of producing up to 200 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque for its front wheels. It also comes equipped with a unique propulsion system that is designed to provide up to 259 miles on a single charge and DC fast-charge capability to give it 100 miles of range within half an hour. Another cool thing about the latest Chevrolet Bolt is that it has a one-pedal driving mode that you can activate by pushing a button located in the center console. This mode will increase the usage of regenerative braking and prevent you from having to use the brakes as often to slow the 2023 Bolt down. Chevrolet Bolt EUV Some people are under the impression that the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EV and the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV are more or less the same vehicle due to their names. But that couldn't be further from the truth. The Bolt EUV is a slightly larger vehicle than the Bolt EV and has different specs that set it apart from the Bolt EV. The 200-horsepower electric motor and front-wheel drive in the Bolt EUV make it similar to the Bolt EV. But the Bolt EUV includes a 65 kWh battery pack that can get up to 247 miles before needing to be recharged, which isn’t bad at all when you consider that the Bolt EUV is bigger than the Bolt EV and yet gets comparable range. It also has a more spacious interior than the Bolt EV and holds up well when it’s compared to other small electric SUVs. Chevrolet Equinox EV The 2023 Chevrolet EV lineup will technically only include the 2023 Bolt EV and the 2023 Bolt EUV for the time being. But three other Chevrolet vehicles will be joining the party in 2023, as the 2024 models will quickly be integrated into this lineup of EVs. The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV will be one of them. The 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV and the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV are technically all-electric SUVs. But it'll be evident that the Equinox EV brings something much different to the table when you climb behind the wheel of one. It comes standard with a single motor that can produce up to 210 horsepower, but an optional all-wheel-drive system can bump that up to 290 horsepower. The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV has two batteries you can choose for it that’ll provide you with a better range than the Bolt EUV. There’s a smaller battery pack that can carry you up to 250 miles when fully charged and a larger battery pack that can make that an even 300 miles. It also has a DC fast-charging capability that can add 70 miles of range in around 10 minutes. Chevrolet Blazer EV Chevy reintroduced the Blazer to its lineup back in 2019 to much fanfare, and now it’s reintroducing it by doing the previously unthinkable and putting out an all-electric version. The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV will come with at least one trim with an electric motor capable of producing up to 557 horsepower. It’ll also reportedly have a battery pack in it that’ll provide a range of anywhere from around 247 miles to 320 miles depending on the trim. Chevy will continue to push the Blazer as one of its most luxurious SUVs. On the inside, it'll include everything from an aggressively styled dashboard and seating to a larger-than-life standard 17.7-inch infotainment display. Chevrolet Silverado EV There has been some healthy skepticism surrounding the idea of transforming the legendary Chevrolet Silverado into an all-electric pickup truck. But it sure sounds like Chevy will go above and beyond to prove the doubters wrong with its 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV. It’ll have standard dual motors capable of producing up to 664 horsepower, which will be enough to tow 10,000 pounds and haul up to 1,300 pounds. The new Chevrolet Silverado EV will also come with a large battery pack, enabling it to travel about 400 miles on a single charge. Like many other Chevrolet EVs, it’ll also have DC fast-charging capability, which will allow you to give its battery a 100-mile range with just a 10-minute charge. Visit Us To See The 2023 Chevrolet EV Lineup In Person It remains to be seen whether or not Chevy will be able to get things together quickly enough to have a lineup featuring nothing but EVs by 2035. But it’s certainly off to a strong start with their 2023 Chevrolet EV lineup. And this lineup should only grow from here, with Chevy sending more EVs down the pipeline. Do you want to hear more about the commitment Chevy has made to go all-electric? Or better yet, would you like to come to see some of the EVs from the 2023 Chevrolet EV lineup in person? Give our dealership a call today to schedule a test drive of any of the Chevy EVs currently available on our lot. Image via Chevrolet
